Terms of Use

1. Independent Third-Party Application

PocketHog is an independent application and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by PostHog, Inc. "PostHog" is a trademark of PostHog, Inc. PocketHog uses PostHog's publicly available API to display your analytics data on your behalf.

Your use of PostHog's services is separately governed by PostHog's Terms of Service. PocketHog has no control over PostHog's services, availability, or API.

2. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use PocketHog on your Apple devices for personal or business use, subject to these Terms and Apple's App Store terms.

3. Your Responsibilities

API Key Security

Your PostHog Personal API key grants access to your PostHog data. You are responsible for keeping it secure. PocketHog stores your API key in the iOS Keychain, but you should treat it as a sensitive credential. Do not share your device in an unlocked state with untrusted parties.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use PocketHog to access PostHog accounts or data you are not authorized to access, reverse engineer the app, or use it in any manner that violates applicable law.

Account Responsibility

You are responsible for all activity that occurs through your PostHog API key when used within PocketHog.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

PocketHog is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that data displayed will be accurate or up to date. PostHog API availability and data accuracy are outside our control.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, business interruption, or lost profits, arising from your use of or inability to use PocketHog, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of PocketHog shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app.

6. Intellectual Property

PocketHog and its original content, design, and code are the intellectual property of the developer. PostHog's name, logo, and related marks are the property of PostHog, Inc.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to discontinue PocketHog at any time. These Terms remain in effect until terminated by either party. Your rights under these Terms terminate automatically if you violate them.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Jersey, in the United States of America, without regard to conflict of law principles.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the effective date when we do. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
